Adjuvants, Immunologic
Substances that augment, stimulate, activate, potentiate, or modulate the immune response at either the cellular or humoral level. The classical agents (Freund's adjuvant, BCG, Corynebacterium parvum, et al.) contain bacterial antigens. Some are endogenous (e.g., histamine, interferon, transfer factor, tuftsin, interleukin-1). Their mode of action is either non-specific, resulting in increased immune responsiveness to a wide variety of antigens, or antigen-specific, i.e., affecting a restricted type of immune response to a narrow group of antigens. The therapeutic efficacy of many biological response modifiers is related to their antigen-specific immunoadjuvanticity. (See all compounds classified as Adjuvants, Immunologic.)
Enzyme Inhibitors
Compounds or agents that combine with an enzyme in such a manner as to prevent the normal substrate-enzyme combination and the catalytic reaction. (See all compounds classified as Enzyme Inhibitors.)
Cytochrome P-450 Enzyme Inhibitors
Drugs and compounds which inhibit or antagonize the biosynthesis or actions of CYTOCHROME P-450 ENZYMES. (See all compounds classified as Cytochrome P-450 Enzyme Inhibitors.)
Bifendate has known human metabolites that include Mono-O-demethylated bdd and methyl 4-(2,3-dihydroxy-4-methoxy-6-methoxycarbonylphenyl)-7-methoxy-1,3-benzodioxole-5-carboxylate.

A .alpha.-ddb manufacturer is defined as any person or entity involved in the manufacture, preparation, processing, compounding or propagation of .alpha.-ddb, including repackagers and relabelers. The FDA regulates .alpha.-ddb manufacturers to ensure that their products comply with relevant laws and regulations and are safe and effective to use. .alpha.-ddb API Manufacturers are required to adhere to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) to ensure that their products are consistently manufactured to meet established quality criteria.

A .alpha.-ddb supplier is an individual or a company that provides .alpha.-ddb active pharmaceutical ingredient (API) or .alpha.-ddb finished formulations upon request. The .alpha.-ddb suppliers may include .alpha.-ddb API manufacturers, exporters, distributors and traders.

In Korea, the Ministry of Food and Drug Safety (MFDS) is in charge of regulating pharmaceutical products and services.
Pharmaceutical companies submit a .alpha.-ddb Drug Master File in Korea (.alpha.-ddb KDMF) to the MFDS, which includes comprehensive information about the production, processing, facilities, materials, packaging, and testing of .alpha.-ddb. The MFDS reviews the .alpha.-ddb KDMF as part of the drug registration process and uses the information provided in the .alpha.-ddb KDMF to evaluate the safety and efficacy of the drug.
After submitting a .alpha.-ddb KDMF to the MFDS, the registered manufacturer can provide importers or distributors with the registration number without revealing confidential information to Korean business partners. Applicants seeking to register their .alpha.-ddb API can apply through the Korea Drug Master File (KDMF).

.alpha.-ddb Active pharmaceutical ingredient (API) is produced in GMP-certified manufacturing facility.
GMP stands for Good Manufacturing Practices, which is a system used in the pharmaceutical industry to make sure that goods are regularly produced and monitored in accordance with quality standards. The FDA’s current Good Manufacturing Practices requirements are referred to as cGMP or current GMP which indicates that the company follows the most recent GMP specifications. The World Health Organization (WHO) has its own set of GMP guidelines, called the WHO GMP. Different countries can also set their own guidelines for GMP like China (Chinese GMP) or the EU (EU GMP).
PharmaCompass offers a list of .alpha.-ddb GMP manufacturers, exporters & distributors, which can be sorted by USDMF, JDMF, KDMF, CEP (COS), WC, API price, and more, enabling you to easily find the right .alpha.-ddb GMP manufacturer or .alpha.-ddb GMP API supplier for your needs.
A .alpha.-ddb CoA (Certificate of Analysis) is a formal document that attests to .alpha.-ddb's compliance with .alpha.-ddb specifications and serves as a tool for batch-level quality control.
.alpha.-ddb CoA mostly includes findings from lab analyses of a specific batch. For each .alpha.-ddb CoA document that a company creates, the USFDA specifies specific requirements, such as supplier information, material identification, transportation data, evidence of conformity and signature data.
.alpha.-ddb may be tested according to a variety of international standards, such as European Pharmacopoeia (.alpha.-ddb EP), .alpha.-ddb JP (Japanese Pharmacopeia) and the US Pharmacopoeia (.alpha.-ddb USP).
