This applies to Schedule H2 medicines. The final notification expands earlier draft requirements by mandating qualitative excipient details in QR codes on product packaging. This should enhance transparency and support patient safety. Industrial production of Hyaluronic acid is based on either its extraction from animal tissues or large-scale lactic acid bacterial fermentation with genetically engineered strains. Plant-based HA is extracted from microbial fermentation in addition to animal-based Hyaluronic acid.A majority of the industries use Hyaluronic acid supplements for joint diseases, particularly inflammation.
