    Founded in 1983, the company that would become Ei was a standard contract manufacturing organization that focused primarily on the manufacture of liquid, semi-solid and powder cosmetic and pharmaceutical products. But in 2006, a remarkable change began. In the years that followed, a totally new management team was installed, a brand-new 147,000 square foot manufacturing facility was constructed, we were qualified and began producing NDA pharmaceuticals, added comprehensive testing and development labs and implemented best-in-class systems for health/safety, R&D, environmental and project management. In short, we became a completely new company from the ground up. We became Ei, A Pharmaceutical SolutionWorks™. Why is this different than a typical CMO? It’s not merely that our standards are higher. It’s that we are wired differently. We’ve attracted talent from leading pharmaceutical and consumer packaged goods companies because they have seen a chance to revolutionize a neglected part of the industry.
