    The history of Microscopy Services GmbH Dähnhardt begins with a spin-off from the Department of Dermatology, Venereology and Allergology at the University Clinics Schleswig-Holstein (UKSH). Stephan Dähnhardt-Pfeiffer, Dipl. Ing. in Life Sciences, has his scientific roots in Hamburg. At the Heinrich-Pette Institute for Experimental Virology and Immunology at the University of Hamburg, his passion for electron microscopy was kindled early on. From 2000 to 2007 he was the Technical Director of Central Microscopy of the University of Kiel.
