Tree of Life is a dynamic pharmaceutical and health product company formed in 2001 by three pharmacists, all graduates of the School of Pharmacology in the Hebrew University of Jerusalem's Faculty of Medicine. Based in Lod, Israel, the company develops and maintains a wide range of innovative health products, including over-the-counter medications, advanced medical devices, unique nutritional supplements and health products. Tree of Life develops products for hundreds of thousands of customers both under its own brand name, and as private labels such as "Life" for Super-Pharm, "Maccabi Care" for Maccabi Healthcare Services, and "Sharam" for the Sharampharm drugstores chain. Tree of Life's leading products include the "Dragon Plaster" series for muscle pain relief , the "Chamomilo" series for infants and children, the "NeoCutan" series for skin conditions, and many more. The company's products are carried by pharmacies, drugstores, health stores and health service providers across Israel. Over the past few years, Tree of Life products have been also exported worldwide, both under its name brand and under various private labels (including for Teva Europe). Tree of Life uses the services of a development and manufacturing center which includes an advanced laboratory and factory. Some of the company's products are manufactured overseas, mainly in the United States and Europe. These manufacturing sites are carefully selected based on knowledge sharing agreements, strict quality control and GMP manufacturing standards. The company also collaborates with doctors and pharmacists in hospitals and the community in order to test its products.
