    Suir Pharma Ireland, originally named Clonmel Chemicals, was founded in the 1970’s by a group of local business people. It moved to the existing site in 1984 and in 1987 built a second manufacturing plant on the site to produce penicillin based products for the US market. Due to a re-organisation in the Stada Group it was decided to divest our site which was acquired by mutares AG in January 2012.
