(Former:Sichuan Long March Pharmaceutical Plant) is located in Leshan, Sichuan province, close to world-famous Emei Mount & Leshan Grand Buddha, one of world natural and cultural heritages. Long March, with 40-year history, is now the largest antibiotics manufacturer in southwest of China. With 40 years of fast development since its establishment in 1968, enterprise scale and scope of business are expanded constantly. As a comprehensive pharmaceutical company, Long March owns 4 subsidiary companies, one Institute of Antibiotics and has main products over 150 items including antibiotics manufacturing, bio-fermentation, chemical synthesis, bio-pesticides, and animal health products and pharmaceutical machineries. Annual outputs are over 2,500 metric tons APIs, 300 millions vials of water injections, 50 millions vials of powder injections, 1,500 millions of tablets, 200 millions capsules and 500 sets of pharmaceutical machines. Now Long March is developing towards a comprehensive, outward-oriented, and multiple enterprise group in China. Up to now the total assets is up to 500 millions RMB, the whole production area covers 450,000 square meters. As a leading pharmaceutical industry, we have 1800 employees, of which there are 300 professional technicians. As a Provincial Enterprise Technological Center awarded by People’s Government of Sichuan Province in 1997, Long March has developed one kind of National Class I New Drug, one kind of Class 3 New Drug and one kind of Class 5 New Drug , obtained 12 kinds of National Utility Patent, and participated in the development of CP Standards. We have established our quality system according to cGMP and strictly comply with domestic and international Pharmacopeias standards .The main products of our company have been US FDA approved for 9 times since 1982, and we successfully passed the EDQM inspection program for Certificate of Suitability (COS) of the monographs of the European Pharmacopoeia in 2002. In addition, nine of our products are awarded Best Quality Product and Famous Brand Name by both ministerial and provincial authorities. Long March is the first enterprise in China awarded “The International Best Quality Prize” and “The Best Business Name” in Spain.
