Scorpion Group of Companies founded in the year 2000 is headed by Mr. JPN Singh who has vast and rich experience in the field of Pharmaceutical manufacturing, going through the experience of Pharma he observed that packing and logistics was as important a component of the industry, as were the medicines being produced. As such, Mr JPN Singh studied all the issues, and out of this originated ‘Scorpion Express’, the first Company of the group which now has a national presence. It provides logistic support from small to top multinational Pharma Companies. Few years later the problem of packaging of pharmaceutical and healthcare formulations was addressed, since it required packaging which had to be such that could help maintain the extremely sensitive characteristics and qualities of the different formulations. Although the PET bottles were being produced by various manufacturers across the country, by and large, the importance of keeping the bottles and other packaging material in hygienic conditions, and to make it reach the filling lines in the utmost quality and cleanliness was not being followed professionally. Mr Singh studied this particular aspect deeply and thus thought of overcoming this task. As a result of this the second Company was established as ‘Scorpion Container (P) Ltd’ (SCPL). The Company commenced its production in the year 2005 and started supplying PET bottles to Various Pharmaceutical Companies. The packaging division further expanded in manufacturing of HDPE bottles, ROPP closures, HDPE and PP closures, Flip Off Seals, and marketing of customized solutions for Alu-Alu foil and Glass Vials, thru its expanded divisions, MiScorp Packaging, Ashoka Enterprises and Scorpion Inc.
