From Mucosa to the Heparin API - everything under one company roof – all made in Germany! Producing Heparin on a large scale starting from mucosa with 100% controlled qualities and from 100% approved raw materials, we are able to physically verify a whole supply chain traceable from German and European animal sources. Complemented by our state-of-the-art Pharma Action API production site in Berlin, we offer a unique supply and service set-up. The latest U.S. FDA and EMA positions consider mucosa as the starting point for Heparin API production, instead of Crude Heparin! Therefore the European Commission updates the GMP Guideline to increase regulations on APIs. More on that: Eudralex Volume 4, Annex 2.
