The Institute of Innovative Biomedical Technology was initially established in 2001. Later on in 2006 it achieved the Scientific Institute status awarded by the Latvian government. Then in 2011 we received the silver medal for innovation, awarded by the Riga council.

When the Institute was initially planned, we decided to combine the ideal R&D unit where research, product development and production could be well integrated under the same roof. Our headquarters, including laboratories, research rooms, manufacturing facilities and other premises can cover an amazing area larger than 2600 square meters in the same building.
