Treatment of ocular signs and symptoms of seasonal allergic conjunctivitis.

5 Pharmacology and Biochemistry
5.1 MeSH Pharmacological Classification

Anti-Inflammatory Agents, Non-Steroidal

Anti-inflammatory agents that are non-steroidal in nature. In addition to anti-inflammatory actions, they have analgesic, antipyretic, and platelet-inhibitory actions. They act by blocking the synthesis of prostaglandins by inhibiting cyclooxygenase, which converts arachidonic acid to cyclic endoperoxides, precursors of prostaglandins. Inhibition of prostaglandin synthesis accounts for their analgesic, antipyretic, and platelet-inhibitory actions; other mechanisms may contribute to their anti-inflammatory effects. (See all compounds classified as Anti-Inflammatory Agents, Non-Steroidal.)

Histamine H1 Antagonists, Non-Sedating

A class of non-sedating drugs that bind to but do not activate histamine receptors (DRUG INVERSE AGONISM), thereby blocking the actions of histamine or histamine agonists. These antihistamines represent a heterogenous group of compounds with differing chemical structures, adverse effects, distribution, and metabolism. Compared to the early (first generation) antihistamines, these non-sedating antihistamines have greater receptor specificity, lower penetration of BLOOD-BRAIN BARRIER, and are less likely to cause drowsiness or psychomotor impairment. (See all compounds classified as Histamine H1 Antagonists, Non-Sedating.)

Anti-Allergic Agents

Agents that are used to treat allergic reactions. Most of these drugs act by preventing the release of inflammatory mediators or inhibiting the actions of released mediators on their target cells. (From AMA Drug Evaluations Annual, 1994, p475) (See all compounds classified as Anti-Allergic Agents.)

PAZEO Manufacturers

A PAZEO manufacturer is defined as any person or entity involved in the manufacture, preparation, processing, compounding or propagation of PAZEO, including repackagers and relabelers. The FDA regulates PAZEO manufacturers to ensure that their products comply with relevant laws and regulations and are safe and effective to use. PAZEO API Manufacturers are required to adhere to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) to ensure that their products are consistently manufactured to meet established quality criteria.

click here to find a list of PAZEO manufacturers with USDMF, JDMF, KDMF, CEP, GMP, COA and API Price related information on PhamaCompass.

PAZEO Suppliers

A PAZEO supplier is an individual or a company that provides PAZEO active pharmaceutical ingredient (API) or PAZEO finished formulations upon request. The PAZEO suppliers may include PAZEO API manufacturers, exporters, distributors and traders.

click here to find a list of PAZEO suppliers with USDMF, JDMF, KDMF, CEP, GMP, COA and API Price related information on PharmaCompass.

PAZEO USDMF

A PAZEO DMF (Drug Master File) is a document detailing the whole manufacturing process of PAZEO active pharmaceutical ingredient (API) in detail. Different forms of PAZEO DMFs exist exist since differing nations have different regulations, such as PAZEO USDMF, ASMF (EDMF), JDMF, CDMF, etc.

A PAZEO DMF submitted to regulatory agencies in the US is known as a USDMF. PAZEO USDMF includes data on PAZEO's chemical properties, information on the facilities and procedures used, and details about packaging and storage. The PAZEO USDMF is kept confidential to protect the manufacturer’s intellectual property.

click here to find a list of PAZEO suppliers with USDMF on PharmaCompass.

PAZEO JDMF

The Pharmaceuticals and Medical Devices Agency (PMDA) established the Japan Drug Master File (JDMF), also known as the Master File (MF), to permit Japanese and foreign manufacturers of drug substances, intermediates, excipients, raw materials, and packaging materials (‘Products’) to voluntarily register confidential information about the production and management of their products in Japan.

The PAZEO Drug Master File in Japan (PAZEO JDMF) empowers PAZEO API manufacturers to present comprehensive information (e.g., production methods, data, etc.) to the review authority, i.e., PMDA (Pharmaceuticals & Medical Devices Agency).

PMDA reviews the PAZEO JDMF during the approval evaluation for pharmaceutical products. At the time of PAZEO JDMF registration, PMDA checks if the format is accurate, if the necessary items have been included (application), and if data has been attached.

click here to find a list of PAZEO suppliers with JDMF on PharmaCompass.

PAZEO KDMF

In Korea, the Ministry of Food and Drug Safety (MFDS) is in charge of regulating pharmaceutical products and services.

Pharmaceutical companies submit a PAZEO Drug Master File in Korea (PAZEO KDMF) to the MFDS, which includes comprehensive information about the production, processing, facilities, materials, packaging, and testing of PAZEO. The MFDS reviews the PAZEO KDMF as part of the drug registration process and uses the information provided in the PAZEO KDMF to evaluate the safety and efficacy of the drug.

After submitting a PAZEO KDMF to the MFDS, the registered manufacturer can provide importers or distributors with the registration number without revealing confidential information to Korean business partners. Applicants seeking to register their PAZEO API can apply through the Korea Drug Master File (KDMF).

click here to find a list of PAZEO suppliers with KDMF on PharmaCompass.

Pharmaceutical companies that manufacture PAZEO as an active pharmaceutical ingredient (API) must furnish the FDA with an updated record of all drugs that they produce, prepare, propagate, compound, or process for commercial distribution in the US at their facilities.

Compounded drug products

The NDC directory also contains data on finished compounded human drug products that contain PAZEO and are produced by outsourcing facilities. While these outsourcing facilities are not mandated to assign a PAZEO NDC to their finished compounded human drug products, they may choose to do so.

click here to find a list of PAZEO suppliers with NDC on PharmaCompass.

PAZEO GMP

PAZEO Active pharmaceutical ingredient (API) is produced in GMP-certified manufacturing facility.

GMP stands for Good Manufacturing Practices, which is a system used in the pharmaceutical industry to make sure that goods are regularly produced and monitored in accordance with quality standards. The FDA’s current Good Manufacturing Practices requirements are referred to as cGMP or current GMP which indicates that the company follows the most recent GMP specifications. The World Health Organization (WHO) has its own set of GMP guidelines, called the WHO GMP. Different countries can also set their own guidelines for GMP like China (Chinese GMP) or the EU (EU GMP).

PharmaCompass offers a list of PAZEO GMP manufacturers, exporters & distributors, which can be sorted by USDMF, JDMF, KDMF, CEP (COS), WC, API price, and more, enabling you to easily find the right PAZEO GMP manufacturer or PAZEO GMP API supplier for your needs.

PAZEO CoA

A PAZEO CoA (Certificate of Analysis) is a formal document that attests to PAZEO's compliance with PAZEO specifications and serves as a tool for batch-level quality control.

PAZEO CoA mostly includes findings from lab analyses of a specific batch. For each PAZEO CoA document that a company creates, the USFDA specifies specific requirements, such as supplier information, material identification, transportation data, evidence of conformity and signature data.

PAZEO may be tested according to a variety of international standards, such as European Pharmacopoeia (PAZEO EP), PAZEO JP (Japanese Pharmacopeia) and the US Pharmacopoeia (PAZEO USP).

Inform the supplier about your product requirements, specifying if you need a product with particular monograph like EP (Ph. Eur.), USP, JP, BP, or any other quality. In addition, clarify whether you need hydrochloride (HCl), anhydricum, base, micronisatum or a specific level of purity. To find reputable suppliers, utilize the filters and select those certified by GMP, FDA, or any other certification as per your requirement.
For your convenience, we have listed synonyms and CAS numbers to help you find the best supplier. The use of synonyms and CAS numbers can be helpful in identifying potential suppliers, but it is crucial to note that they might not always indicate the exact same product. It is important to confirm the product details with the supplier before making a purchase to ensure that it meets your requirements.
