Also known as: Carbopol 71g nf
Carbomer Homopolymer is a high molecular weight polymer of acrylic acid cross-linked with allyl ethers of polyalcohols. Carbomer Homopolymer, previously dried, contains not less than 56.0 percent and not more than 68.0 percent of carboxylic acid groups. Ethyl acetate is used as residual solvent in the production of carbomer homopolymer type A. It acts as rheology modifiers or controlled release agents in liquid, semisolid and solid dosage forms.
    Applications: Carbopol® 971P NF polymer is used in oral & mucosal contact applications such as extended/controlled release tablets, oral liquids, suspension & bioadhesive formulations. The residual solvent of Carbopol 971P NF is Ethyl acetate.
