1) Dissolve the API in Ethanol, i.e., 1g in 10 to 15 ml of Ethanol
2) Mix with 20% sugar-lipid polymer at a ratio of 20:1 (20 parts of polymer solution and 1 part of the drug in ethanol), the final Ethanol content is less than 5% in the mixed solution).
3) Add 2X volume of 5% mannitol, mixed well, sterile filled with 0.2 µm PTFE membrane filter, then dispatch 20 mg Docetaxel equivalent to each vial (20ml) and place under - 40 °C freezer.
4) The frozen mixture undergoes lyophilization.
The release test will follow the USP methods.
