SPYVLP01, a vaccine targeting human cytomegalovirus (HCMV) using its Hepatitis B virus-like-particle platform technology. There is currently no approved vaccine against HCMV.
ALS-4 is a small molecule drug based on an anti-virulence approach targeting staphylococcus aureus including MRSA. It targets antimicrobial resistant properties of the bacteria and is believed to render the bacteria highly susceptible to the host’s immune clearance.
MET-X is a novel therapy designed to help restore the function of antibiotics that have become ineffective due to drug resistance created by bacterial enzymes known as metallo-β-lactamases (MBLs) which break down β-lactam antibiotics, including carbapenems.
SPX-001 is SpectrumX’s nebulised respiratory infection drug candidate, based on the Company’s licensed hypochlorous acid (HOCl)-based SPC-069 drug substance, which is believed to have broad-spectrum antipathogenic properties.
SpectrumX has confirmed scientific advice meeting with MHRA and will discuss the available data supporting the commencement of human trials with SPX-001 (Hypochlorous Acid) protocol for Phase Ib human volunteer study, prior to submission of CTA submission.
rVA576 (nomacopan), second-generation complement inhibitor that acts on C5 component, preventing release of C5a and formation of C5b–9 and independently also inhibits leukotriene B4, or LTB4, activity, elements that located as part of immune/inflammatory response.
The multi-center, Phase 2a trial will evaluate the safety, pharmacokinetics, immunogenicity, and antiviral activity of Arbutus’s GalNAc delivered RNAi therapeutic, AB-729, followed by Vaccitech’s proprietary immunotherapeutic, VTP-300, in NrtI-suppressed subjects with CHB.
The primary objective of the trial is to evaluate the safety and tolerability of SAD and MAD of ALS-4, an orally administered small molecule drug intended to treat infections caused by Staphylococcus aureus including MRSA.
ARCA anticipates initiating a Phase 2b/3 sequential clinical trial, ASPEN-COVID-19, of AB201 in approximately 100 patients hospitalized with COVID-19 in the fourth quarter of this year, with Phase 2b followed by a contiguous Phase 3 study that is dependent on Phase 2 results.
AB201 is a small recombinant protein and a potent, selective inhibitor of tissue factor, developed as a potential treatment for RNA virus- associated disease, initially focusing on COVID-19.
